On Tuesday, Kenneth and Marguerite represented HMD Construction & Development at the 2026 Triangle Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) Expo.

The event brought together healthcare professionals, practice managers, and industry partners from across the Triangle to connect, build relationships, and learn more about the many services and resources available to help support medical practices and keep them running smoothly.

As a company that works closely with healthcare providers and medical practices across North Carolina, we always value opportunities like this to build relationships, stay connected to industry trends, and continue learning how we can better serve our clients and partners.

It was also great catching up with Alison from CARR Healthcare Realty, one of the many trusted professionals we enjoy working alongside within the healthcare industry.

Katherine, the daughter of HMD co-owner Kenneth Dickinson and his wife, Jennifer, earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a concentration in medicine—an incredible accomplishment. She’s planning to attend PA school in the near future and has already accepted a position with Raleigh Neurology. We’re so excited to see all that lies ahead for her!

It’s always special to celebrate milestones like this within the HMD family, and we couldn’t be more proud.

It was a privilege to host a panel discussion at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, speaking with third-year dental students about preparing for practice ownership.

The panel brought together industry experts across banking, legal, real estate, equipment, consulting, and construction to give students a well-rounded look at what it takes to move from clinician to owner.

From career path insights to the process of starting or acquiring a practice, the goal was to provide practical, real-world guidance as students begin planning for their future.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to support and connect with the next generation of healthcare providers.

In honor of World Autism Awareness Day, we want to recognize the important work being done by organizations in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy community.

ABA providers play a vital role in supporting children with autism and their families by offering therapy, resources, and guidance that help individuals build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

At HMD Construction & Development, we’re proud to support this industry by helping create thoughtfully designed spaces where this meaningful work can take place. It was an honor to partner with organizations like BlueSprig Autism and others dedicated to strengthening our communities through compassionate care and specialized support.
