HMD Development was proud to partner with NC Planning, CARR, Simmons Veterinary Practice Sales & Appraisals, and Covenant Wealth Management to host our first Dinner & Discussion event for local veterinarians in the RDU area.
Held at the iconic Angus Barn, the evening brought together a fantastic group of professionals to dive into key topics in veterinary real estate, construction, practice sales and appraisals, financial planning, and business/corporate and estate planning.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for this collaborative night of insight, connection, and community – and we’re looking forward to more events like this in the future!
We’ve just started work on Hone-Sharpen, a 3,351 sq ft teaching kitchen coming to Smoky Hollow in Downtown Raleigh at 516 North West Street! Founded by Chef Cherisse Byers, Hone-Sharpen is designed for guided cooking classes, inspiring events, and a vibrant community that celebrates food. Chef Cherisse, a Durham native, has spent years teaching and connecting with home cooks across the Triangle. Now, she’s bringing her expertise to this dynamic space, which will feature a demonstration kitchen, commercial kitchen, and more – perfect for hands-on classes, professional training, and culinary entertainment. We look forward to bringing this vision to life!
Kenneth Dickinson, co-owner of HMD Construction and Development, recently participated as an exhibitor at the North Carolina Academy of General Dentistry (NCAGD) Annual Meeting, held in Charlotte, NC. This event brings together dental professionals dedicated to continuing education and advancing patient care. HMD has had the privilege of assisting many dental providers with office construction, offering guidance throughout the process of creating spaces designed for efficiency, functionality, and patient comfort. NCAGD offers high-quality courses throughout the year to support members in providing exceptional dental care and education, and HMD was proud to connect with attendees and engage with industry leaders at this year’s event.
HMD led an engaging seminar at the ECU School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, NC, offering key guidance for practice ownership to 3rd and 4th year dental students. The panel featured industry professionals from sectors such as accounting, banking, dental equipment, legal, real estate, and construction and development, along with an experienced practice owner. It was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and help future dental professionals gain the insights they need for success.
